We would like to invite you to the 25th International Congress 'The Fetus as a Patient' that will take place in Sydney, Australia from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th March in 2009. Sydney, recognised as one of the most attractive cities in the world, will provide a perfect backdrop to the meeting allowing visitors to experience Australia's relaxed culture and al-fresco lifestyle.
As this is the 25th international scientific meeting of 'The Fetus as a Patient' we will take the opportunity to review some of the achievements made in the fields of pre- and perinatal medicine as well as to look toward future scientific and clinical developments. The meeting will include presentations from a range of international speakers recognised as being experts in their field. There will be sessions dedicated to ultrasound and MR in fetal and neonatal imaging, prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy, the management of perinatal diseases such as preeclampsia, preterm labour, maternal and fetal infection and management issues in intrapartum and neonatal care.
The Congress is designed for health professionals involved in the care of pregnant women and their babies and will provide a good opportunity to be updated in current developments and controversies in pre- and perinatal medicine.
We hope you will consider participating in this meeting.
Best wishes,
Andrew Ngu, Lachlan de Crespigny, Jon Hyett
